Dr. Kate is doing a great job treating my runner’s plantar fasciitis. This is where endurance athletes should go to rehab injuries. Personalized plan to get you back running again stronger than before. Or you can go to another big PT operation and get put on a stationary bike for 10 minutes while your PT assistant tends to 3 other patients.

Kate is extremely knowledgeable, listens and hears you as a patient experiencing pain, and creates an in-depth plan with solutions and exercises that truly make a difference. It was a privilege to work with her and I highly recommend her and her practice. I have only glowing compliments for Kate and her work.

I have been to Driven Physiotherapy twice for injuries. I am currently working with Kate on the second injury and have signed up for another package of sessions because there is more I would like to accomplish beyond this injury and I feel Kate is the one to get me there. I am VERY active and a hip injury several years ago made it almost impossible to walk any distance over a mile and was preventing me from doing ballroom dancing with my husband which we love. In my one visit, Kate, not a dancer, said, "I bet you have a move that looks like this." You bet! She gave me a series of exercises which I did religiously and within a month I no longer has any hip issues. This year I got a shoulder impingement while watching my granddaughter from Japan while her father, my son, got surgery and PT he could not get on the military base in Japan after being injured while in flight training. I was desperate, scared, and frustrated. I felt I could not go down while I cared for 2 people who were depending on me. I immediately went back to Kate. Even though I had pointed out to various people that my left should blade winged way out, ONLY KATE told me I needed to fix this as it was part of my problem and would continue to cause problems in the future. Not only have we fixed the impingement to the point I am having few minor problems but she has almost corrected the winged scapula. I am stronger and better informed than I was when I first showed up. Another thing I love about Kate is that she looks at the big picture. How do I handle stress? (I was very stressed and it was impacting me not only mentally but physically.) What can I do to relieve stress. She has a holistic approach which I feel is KEY. 99% of my quality of life is tied to my PHYSICAL and mental well being. I highly recommend Driven Physiotherapy.

Working with Kate was a game changer for me. I knew a lot of running friends who work with her and sing her praises but I finally took the leap when I developed knee pain after a long distance race. It went on for months and I knew I needed professional help. Kate did an in-depth evaluation and then tailored a plan of action specifically for me. She is very easy to talk to and always available to answer my questions when things came up throughout my plan. My knee pain is gone and I’m able to continue with my running and reach for new goals! I only wish I had started working with her sooner.

Dr. Kate James listens and works with her clients on a manageable recovery plan! As a 30 year runner I was experiencing pain I had never had before, she was able to diagnose and give me steps to work through the pain. 8 weeks later I am pain free and tackling strengthening and ways to prevent pain/injury. Seeing her was the best thing I have done for myself and my running! The run analysis was eye opening. Dr. James knew exactly what and how I can be a more efficient and well balanced runner.

Working with Dr. Kate James was a great experience. I went to Dr. Kate with a injury that was not allowing me to run. After seeing her she was able to give me some exercises that allowed me to get back into running pain free. I then had the opportunity to have her set up an 8 week program that she put together involving exercises that are simple and that will allow me to continue to run pain free. Dr. Kate always took her time to listen and explain things and never once said that I had to give up running!!! Thank you

I worked with Dr. Kate for over a year leading up to my first marathon and first ultramarathon. I wanted a physical therapist who understood running and Dr. Kate was exactly that! I loved the easy to follow training plans she provided on a weekly basis that included both strength training exercises and running workouts tailored for me and my specific needs. Dr. Kate was always accessible via phone, text or social media to answer any questions and to provide guidance when needed. I highly recommend Dr. Kate for all of your physical therapy and run coaching needs; you won't be disappointed!

Kate is amazing. She helped me work through some pain and helped me return to running with tools and techniques I will use for years to come. my initial pain is gone and I have become a more efficient runner. Kate is personable and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Driven to without hesitation.

I highly recommend Dr. Kate! I was having issues with running and even getting out of the car with issues lifting my leg. I stopped running for a while thinking it would get better on its own, it did not. My ankle and my hip were hurting with no relief coming from the rest. I went to Dr. Kate and I am back to running pain free with no mobility problems at all, Ankle and hip are great! She took the time to understand my issues and formulate a plan for my recovery that is personalized. I really like the fact that the individualized workouts are sent to me daily. It both serves as a reminder, as well as giving the specific workout of the day. I also appreciated the fact that Dr. Kate altered the visits as I made progress. In my case there was more time between visits as I progressed. She truly cares about the individual, and the specific plan for recovery. I will be back in a heartbeat should something else come up!

I highly recommend any runner/athlete to talk to and work with Dr Kate. Whether it's working to overcome an injury or to meet agoal you've set for yourself, she can get you where you need to be. I first saw Kate at the Pemberton 24 Event where she helped fix me up so I could keep running toward the mileage goal I had set for myself. From there, we meet and she did a running/gait analysis and helped me with exercises to work through an injury. She has helped me keep running and cycling, through several issues that have come up. Most recently, I have had the opportunity to work with Dr Kate as a running coach to achieve some lofty goals I had set. With her guidance in training plans, strength work, and fueling/nutrition, I have been able to run smarter and longer than I ever imagined possible. I wouldn't have been able to keep doing this thing I love without her help.
